Alhassane Konte'S PROFILE

Alhassane Konté dit Lass Born in Kodié in 1993, Mali, Alhassane Konté dit Lass lives and works in Bamako. He graduated from the National Institute of Arts and then from the Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers Multimedia, Bamako. He was the winner of the Mali / European Union cooperation competition in 2018, exhibited at Casa Blanca, Bamako, during the open doors of the Tim’Arts workshop. He participates in collective exhibitions at the National Museum of Mali organized in particular by the Center Soleil d'Afrique and the Tim'Arts collective of which he is a member. His first solo exhibition took place at Villa Soudan in 2019 with his microMéga series. He recently exhibited at Galerie Chauvy, Paris and completed a residency at the Blachère Foundation, Senegal. 


He exhibits at the same time at louiSimone Guirandou Galery in Abidjan, at the Montevideo center in Marseille, as part of the Africa 2020 Season and at the African Memories Gallery in Saly, Senegal. He participated in the Africa 2020 Season in Marseille with the Ateliers SAHM and participated in the 9th edition of the RIAC (the International Meeting of Contemporary Art) in Congo Brazzaville, exhibited at the French Institute of Congo Brazzaville in collaboration with the Ateliers SAHM, participated in the FNB Art Joburg 14th online edition by the LouiSimone Guirandou gallery.
